Alpine Ski World Cup | Cea mai lunga coborare

Weekendul acesta sunt programate doua competitii de traditie: Coborarea de la Wengen si trofeul Vulpea de Aur de la Maribor.

Coborarea de pe partia Lauberhorn este singura proba din Cupa Mondiala unde se coboara neintrerupt peste 2 minute jumatate, se ating viteze ametitoare de peste 140 km/h, iar la final muschi frig atat de tare incat ai impresia ca prin vene curge acid lactic in loc de sange. Startul se da cu fata la peretii maiestosi ai Europei. Iar cand schiorii trec lansat prin fata lor, fiorosul Capcaun (Eiger), Fecioara (Jungfrau) si Calugarul (Monch) parca se inclina plini de maretie.
